Aloha, welcome to DA LOG HOUSE, located in the Puna area, the mystical part of Moku O Hawai’i (Island of Hawaii). If you ever wondered what it would be like to visit Hawaii while staying in a log-home? At DA LOG HOUSE, a Hawaiian Family owned Bed and Breakfast, we invite you to this experience.

Located in Hawaiian Acres, 10 miles south of Hilo off of Highway 11, our Cedar Log Bed and Breakfast is nestled among the Ohia trees on the slope of Kilauea Volcano. Just a short drive from both Hilo town and Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. DA LOG HOUSE is situated in a Hawaiian community where you can kick back and relax in a quaint and rustic atmosphere.



Enjoy your authentic Hawaiian vacation where your day starts with a beautiful sunrise and a breakfast consisting of local fruits and local favorites. Your hosts, Susi who is of German and French descent and Daniel who is Native Hawaiian, both speak German and Susi also speaks French. We can assist you with sightseeing activities and any other travel related needs.

DA LOG HOUSE liegt ruhig gelegen in Hawaiian Acres Kurtistown, 15 Kilometer von Hilo entfernt und umgeben von einem wunderschönen naturbelassenen Ohio Wald in unmittelbarer Nähe des Kilauea Vulkans. Die zentrale Lage ist ideal für Kurztrips nach Hilo (internationaler Flughafen), zum Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, an die Badestrände und zum entzückenden Ort Pahoa.

The suite is located on the second floor with a king-size bed and its own private bath. This dormered suite offers views of the Puna coast on one side and our beautiful Ohia trees on the other. Small refrigerator and satellite TV. Rate: $ 135.00 per night plus tax.
